Louisville Community Mourns Loss of Eli Harmon Jr. Following Shooting

Louisville, Ga. — A confrontation in Louisville on March 13 turned deadly when gunfire broke out, leaving three people injured and claiming the life of 41-year-old Eli Harmon Jr., a lifelong resident of the area. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Deputies responded to reports of a heated argument involving multiple individuals. Before officers arrived, shots were fired, striking three people. Harmon was transported to Jefferson Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
