Mary Jane Burcham Obituary, Rienzi, MS Death: In Remembrance Of beloved Resident

A celebration of life service for Mary Jane Burcham, age 5, of Rienzi, Mississippi, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Greater Life United Pentecostal Church. The service will be officiated by Bro. Joseph Burcham and Bro. Tommy Callahan. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church prior to the service. In honor of Mary Jane, the family kindly requests that attendees wear colorful or Bluey-themed clothing.

Born on November 22, 2020, in Corinth, Mississippi, to Chaz and Hailey Burcham, Mary Jane brought immense joy and light into the lives of everyone around her. She passed away on March 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love far greater than her years.

Mary Jane was full of energy, curiosity, and happiness. She loved to run, explore, and spend time with her family, especially visiting her Papa and sharing special moments with her grandmother. She found joy in simple pleasures—watching Bluey, twirling like Fancy Nancy, and enjoying fun adventures, including trips to the zoo. Her love extended to her pets as well, showing kindness and affection to everyone and everything around her.

Her bright smile and warm personality made others feel valued and loved. She often expressed her affection with heartfelt phrases like “I missed you all day” and “You are my favorite,” leaving lasting impressions on those who heard them. Mary Jane was especially excited about starting kindergarten, eagerly looking forward to learning and making new friends.

She is deeply loved and will be forever remembered by her parents, Chaz and Hailey Burcham; her paternal grandfather, Thomas Burcham, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Stephanie Stewart; maternal grandmother, Amanda Gould; great-grandparents, Kerry and Joye Burcham; her aunts and uncles, Austin Burcham (Samantha), TJ Burcham (Misty), Jordan Burcham (Beau), Amber Tracy (TJ), and Nick Middleton; along with many cousins and extended family members.

Though her time on earth was brief, Mary Jane’s joyful spirit, loving heart, and radiant presence will continue to live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.
